Liquidity provider

In November 2001, the trading system of the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange was changed. Under this, the position of market maker disappeared. In its place, the position of liquidity provider was introduced.

A liquidity provider aims to ensure a company’s continuous listing and, among other things, makes sure that bid and offer prices are always included in the trading system. Draka has three liquidity providers in order to ensure orderly and increasing trade in its shares. These are ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Rabo Securities N.V. and Kempen & Co N.V.
