Draka's Wire and Cable Assembly division (WCA) is a leading European
harness maker with an extensive experience (since 1949) and know how. Draka WCA
develops and manufactures a wide range of electrical harnesses and battery
cables, including services for the OEM market in heavy machinery, industrial
equipment, white goods, agriculture industries and others.
Extensive Logistic
Network
The Draka WCA offers production methods such as cutting, stripping, braiding,
taping and molding. In addition Draka WCA supplies an extensive logistic
network. For the customers this means a complete solution that guarantees the
compatibility of all elements in the development, production and supply chain
management.
Furthermore, we offer system solutions for users, from development to
manufacture. As support we use the system products KABI, a CAD, which
facilitates the development of electronics for cabling. It gives the possibility
for reduction of development time, increase in productivity and reduction of
error ratio to automatic check of connection diagram and wiring harness.
Certificates
Primary competitive advantages are product and process performance and prompt
delivery. An integrated management system serves to assure the quality of our
products. Certificates ISO/TS 16949: 2002, ISO 9001: 2000 and ISO 14001: 2004
are the base of our performance. We are able to deliver JIT and Kanban and
organise our processes via EDI.
Draka WCA operates out of five facilities in Europe with:

the Netherlands (head office), France, Turkey and Germany.
